What GPA do you need for SAS? ›

SAS cannot process applications from students with an unweighted GPA below 3.00. The GPA must be verified before the process continues. In addition, passing all sections of the PERT or ACCUPLACER NG at the levels indicated on the “Agreement of Understanding” is also required to be admitted to SAS.

All honors students must earn a minimum 3.25 semester GPA during their first year and a 3.5 semester GPA every semester thereafter. We highly recommend that you take a Byrne Seminar in your first year.

The total number of students enrolled in the SAS Honors Program is approximately 7% of the total SAS undergraduate population of 19,339. Our incoming class averages about 350 SAS and RBS students each year.
