RIO RUIDOSO EMERGENCY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT HAS ISSUED AN EVACUATION NOTICE FOR THE UPPER CANYON AREA DUE TO UNSTABLE SOIL AND LIFE THREATENING FLOOD WATERS. AS YOU JUST SAW RIGHT THERE, IF YOU ARE IN THIS AREA, YOU DO NEED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. IF YOU ARE CLOSE TO THE RIVER, YOU ALSO ARE ASKED TO EVACUATE AND FIND HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. AN EVACUATION SHELTER IS SET UP AT THE WHITE MOUNTAIN RELIEF CENTER.
