Saturday, May 4, 2024, 4;23 a.m.Dear Future Spirit-mate, wherever and whomever you are...( RCA Records didn't work out. ) Listen, I've got an 18 inch flat screen television. Someone told me they were obsolete and suggested that I get a smart television due to the age of my current one. But, being the intelligent person I am, of whom also holds a Certification in Computer Science, I decided to keep my old flat screen and simply purchased a "fire stick". A fire stick is a portable USB drive for T.V.'s Its functionality is that of a smart T.V. once hooked up, except the hard drive and board is on the outside, not the inside of the television. Now, you have free cable and can download and peruse over the 500 channels that come with capabilities of saving, and creating movie lists along with some of your favorite news networks, television shows, and films! The moral of the story is, someone told me your equipment was obsolete due to the age. But, I knew it was still functionable. There is a good picture. A really nice visual. Just needed an external drive attached to its side for all those cool sexy dramas. Some days you may be in an "ACTION" kinda' mood, others you'll want a good comedy. That's not a problem. Because, "I'm Your Cure to Everything Predictable". Plus, I'm funny, funny. Funny! :) LAJ-Trinity. This is classic, but, "call me".

It's VERY easy to make a sh*t video 🙄 (this is not a political post BTW)This little gem popped up after the news last night and I was hooked; not for political reasons but because the video The Labour Party made had so 👏🏻 many 👏🏻 mistakes 👏🏻Allow me to list just a few:Lots of autocue readingLots of awkward/staged walkingShots framed poorlyB-roll doesn't match whats being saidRandom location changesWAY too many cutsMix of colour gradesPoor execution of creative touchOutside of that fact that I think they picked the wrong person to front the vid [insert 'who is she?' meme] what they really missed the mark on was authenticityThe opening scene was her sitting down in a 'behind the scenes' style setup but then proceeds to read a from an autocueI mean, at least learn the first line so you don't lose trust in the first five seconds 🤦🏻♂️I'm not saying every video I make it perfect. What I am saying is that you need to think about your audience first and foremost. What do they want to see and more importantly, what do they NOT want to seeI'll tell you one thing; I do not want to watch sh*t videos from an organisation that has budget to make good videos3 out of 10. See me after class.✌🏻

Picture this: you're standing on a stage, heart pounding, with all eyes on you. Pause for a moment. Translate those online figures to real-life settings. Think of 30 viewers not just as digits on a screen, but a bustling, full-to-the-brim classroom, hanging onto your every word. Increase that to 200, and you're captivating an entire cinema, filling up each seat with the echoes of your thoughts. Boost that figure to 500, and you've electrified an auditorium, the space buzzing with your ideas. Remember, they're not just passive spectators. They've actively chosen YOU. They've decided to tune into your channel from amongst the clamour of online voices. Now, how would you feel standing front and centre in front of that crowd, realising their gazes are all directed at you? Is your heart racing yet? Time to step off the stage and step up your game. These digital figures are REAL people, and every single one of them is tuned into our channel. So let's give them a show worth watching, shall we?

I loved seeing this memory pop into my feed this morning, back in 2018 getting nipped by a llama in the name of Radio entertainment! Looking back I’m really proud of this project “half term on tour” - which was either a really clever way of me getting to do five fun things for free, or a great learning curve of how to carry out a project from start to finish! I learned a lot about collaborative working on this project which took about a month to put together. The key thing being that there’s no limitations to ideas if you open yourself up to working with and listening to others. Two examples spring to mind;(1) Less is more;Should we promote one venue over the course of a week for X revenue, or visit five earning a larger revenue for us, but costing those businesses less - thus making it more appealing for them to come on board? (2) two-track mind;Should this be a one time “blink and you miss it” thing, playing it out on air and that’s that, or… could we do more? Clip it up as a mini episode to listen again, put together a video for socials etc? These approaches are ones I’ve kept with me ever since… along with an ever growing fear of Llamas! 🙌😂
