Uzi’s alarm goes off. 6:00am.
Uzi: ughhhhhh
Uzi gets out of her bed and goes to grab her jacket and beanie. Uzi isn’t a fan of getting all ready with makeup and hair like Lizzy and the other robots in her school do. She starts to walk to school staring at her phone watching anime. When Uzi gets there, she remembers about the comment from yesterday. She gets ready to stand up to Lizzy. When she sees Lizzy she marches up to her.
Uzi: Well well well look who’s here
Lizzy: oh hey…Uzi/:
Uzi: Oh don’t give me that! You know what you did! And oh, oh oh oh buddy you messed with the wrong person…
Uzi clenches her fists
Lizzy: OKAY UZI WAIT!! I’m sorry for what I did. It’s just…V is so cool and when she made that chat and asked me to be a part of it..idk I just…I really wanted to look cool in front of her okay?
Uzi slowly unclenches her fists
Uzi: So you're telling me…V started it? Not you?
Lizzy: No! I don’t give a crap about N!
Uzi: I mean V is like N’s friend so I am just kinda surprised I guess.
Lizzy: Mm well I think N is friends with V..but V isn’t friends with N..
Uzi: What is that supposed to mean?!?!
Lizzy: Idk I don’t think V likes N. N sure does like V though..
Uzi realizes that Lizzy is probably right
Uzi: Oh…well…uh..I got to go to class
Uzi heads to class and ponders on what Lizzy said. Uzi goes to lunch and sits at an empty table that no one sits at. She starts to drink her oil, the only thing she brought. Uzi started to get really bored. You aren’t supposed to have your phones out in school, but since Uzi was in the back of the cafeteria, she decided to break the rules a little bit. Uzi got out her phones and started to text N
DarkXwolf17- hey
N doesn’t respond. Uzi starts to worry, but soon she realizes how dumb that is. I mean come on! Cause he didn’t respond to a text? The bell rings. She sighs and puts her phone away. Once she gets through all her classes and school is dismissed, she starts to walk home. N still hasn’t responded. She tries to text him again
DarkXwolf17- hey I’m outta school now if u wanna hang
N still don’t respond. She decides to text V which she finds out she has the phone number of
DarkXwolf17- I don’t know why I have your phone number but hey it’s Uzi
Vbop-um hi Uzi
Uzi was surprised by her immediate response
DarkXwolf17- What is N doin
Vbop- Why don’t you ask him? Out of all the people you would text me?
DarkXwolf17- Of course I wouldn’t text you! But N isn’t responding!
Vbop-So…your desperate
DarkXwolf17- NO!!! I just…idk I just wanna make sure he is alright
Vbop- Well if you really MUST know, this morning he went to run some errands and he hasn’t returned yet
DarkXwolf17- Errands? What errands? We are robots?
Vbop- idk I didn’t really think anything of it, and you shouldn’t either
It was hard to take advice from V when Uzi thought of her as a fake friend. She started with the closest grocery store near them. She went up to the cashier.
Uzi: hey…cashier
Cashier: hello…
Uzi: I was wondering…did you happen to see a pretty tall, cheerful, robot?
Cashier- oh how could I forget
Uzi- What?
Cashier- he came in and he was ugh so nIcE
Uzi- so?
Cashier- what do you mean? He was a murder drone! Murder drones aren’t like that! It was…strange
Uzi- The point is..is he here
Cashier- well, after telling me about his life story he said he was going to Micheal’s
Uzi- K THANKS BYE
Uzi wasn’t surprised that N would go to Micheal’s. He likes that crafty stuff. Uzi went to Micheal’s and went up to a worker.
Uzi- Hey Mr…Micheal’s
The Micheal’s employee looked at her weird.
Uzi- did you happen to see a tall, murder drone
The Micheal employee thought for a second
Uzi- Pilot hat? Very uh..cheerful?
Micheal’s employee- oh that one. What are you his girlfriend
Uzi was very caught off by that. She blushed.
Uzi- WTH THAT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!!
The employee rolled his eyes
Micheal’s Employee- well anyway, your boyfriend went to the public library down the street.
Uzi- ..thanks
Uzi walks toward the exit and yells over her shoulder
Uzi- AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION HE IS MY BEST FRIEND, NOT MY BOYFRIEND!!
She goes to the library, really hoping he will be there. She goes up to the librarian
Uzi- Have you seen a murder drone with a pilot hat…
The librarian points to a section of the library. Uzi walks over there and turns the corner
Uzi- N!!!!
N looks up and immediately shoves something behind his back.
N- OH UH HEY UZI
Uzi runs up and gives him a hug. N is shocked by this and immediately starts thinking something is wrong and escalates.
N- Uzi? Are you okay?
N hugs Uzi back
Uzi- Am I okay? Are you okay?!
N- Huh? I’m fine! Couldn’t be better!
Uzi- You didn’t respond to any of my text!
Uzi snaps away from his hug. N immediately starts to blame himself.
Uzi- what did you think I would think when you didn’t respond?!? I thought you were dead or something!!
Uzi was pretty mad. N felt horrible.
N- U-Uzi..
N realized the real situation. He pulled her head into his lap
N- Just because I don’t respond to something..doesn’t mean I died? I didn’t have my phone. You know if I was in trouble you would find out pretty soon right? I mean I know you don’t like V but…she is always coming to find me after curtain periods of time.
Uzi still couldn’t grasp that after what V did. But she couldn’t tell N about that! N soon realized how he really expressed how he felt about the situation. He starts fearing that he hurt Uzi’s feelings and starts apologizing
N- Oh my gosh Uzi! No you were right! I was so wrong to leave you off. What if you texted me about an emergency?!?
Uzi- N..I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have yelled at you. It was over dramatic of me.
Uzi- I mean I don’t always respond to text either. And you're right! We would find out pretty quick
Uzi could still tell that N was blaming himself. She reached up and started to play with his hair.
Uzi- Stop blaming yourself whenever someone gets mad at you! That’s not healthy! Can you please do that for me?
N thought for a minute, then looked at Uzi
N- Yea
N reaches next to him and grabs something out of a bag.
N- Anyway..happy national best friend day!
Uzi- What? That’s a thing?
N- Yea! Of course it is!
Uzi stares at what N made her. It was a picture of the time they went to the prom as FRIENDS. It had a cute picture frame around that N obviously painted. It was stupid and sloppy but it was the most thoughtful thing anyone has ever made for Uzi.
Uzi-…thanks N
Uzi sat up and went on her phone. N smiled and grabbed his book that was about pilots and different kinds of airplanes. Uzi looked up from her phone and stared at N. N was too focused on his book to notice. “Holy Crap, I have a crush on N.” Uzi thought. Uzi kissed him on the cheek. When she backed away and opened her eyes, N’s attention was everything but the book. N looked pretty stunned and blushed hard. Before N could even look at Uzi, Uzi got up and ran
Uzi- K BYE!!!!!!
Uzi ran home so happy and relieved. Although when she got home, the house was pitch dark, she tried to find her way to her room when the lights suddenly flick on.
Khan- Well where do you think your doing
Uzi left out a sigh
Uzi- Ok look I was at the library
Uzi was pretty proud of that excuse since it wasn’t wrong. She did go to the library. Khan stared at her
Khan- Hm, well either way, I want you to tell me when you go out. Okay?
Uzi nodded and went to her room. She really wanted to text N goodnight, but after what just happened, she was a little scared too. Uzi laid on her bed. She closed her eyes and thought about what had happened. How she kissed N on the cheek. But with that, also led some worry with what N was gonna think. What if he found it weird? What if he only sees us as friends? The fear stuck in more. But eventually, Uzi fell asleep.
