A sneak peak of my upcoming book: Reaching Escape VelocityChapter 7 The audience of the universeOneday, when I was totally relaxed, when I was not wondering about tomorrow and not delving into the past, when my limbs were hanging and my breath came from my belly, I felt my whole body vibrate. When that happened I felt a sense of absolute peace and belonging. I no longer had needs nor desires. I was in resonance with the universe.I never know when this will happen, and I have not figured out how to make it happen on purpose but it has happened. Also, sometimes when I sing, especially In front of an audience and the audience is being moved, I get so in the moment I close my eyes and I cease to exist. All that is left is resonation. I get pulled into a swirling singularity, broken down into a billion pieces, run through it, get rebuilt. I land back on the ground with my feet and snap out of it and find myself looking, gazing at a microphone and audience. I am back where I started. This is one of the most pleasant experiences I can possibly have.Lately I’ve felt really strongly that the meaning of life is to create beauty and to create beauty is to give meaning to life. This to me means to express ourselves and send out resonations into the universe that before did not exist. That by making new combinations of reality in song, painting, children, building, crafting and such we send out more vibration, more songs into the universe growing the universe, growing reality and creating meaning for existence. In the end it feels like living life is like playing our song for the audience of the universeJoppe

Time-travelers, let's embark on a Nostalgic Journey with 'The Tumultuous Lives of Karl Strong.' Are you ready to dive into a tale that intertwines the complexities of time travel with the sweet, often bitter, high school memories? Shawn Inmon's latest addition to the Middle Falls Series is a portal to the past, taking us on a whirlwind ride to our teenage years and the thrills of first love. In this eighteenth installment, Inmon masterfully crafts a narrative that is as much about self-discovery as it is about the intricacies of time loops. Readers are invited to explore the life of Karl Strong, a character who, like many of us, has experienced the highs and lows of adolescence. But unlike our own linear timelines, Karl's journey is anything but ordinary. With each turn of the page, we are transported back to the lockers-lined hallways, the buzz of the school cafeteria, the football games, and the heart-fluttering moments of young romance. Inmon's vivid storytelling resurrects the emotions that come with first loves and the lessons learned from them—echoing the sentiment that while we cannot change the past, we can certainly learn from it. This story is not just a book; it's an adventure that promises to resonate with anyone who has ever looked back on their formative years with a mix of fondness and regret. It's a reminder that while time marches forward, the journeys we take in literature can always bring us back to the moments that define us. So, fellow time-travel enthusiasts, grab your copy and prepare to be swept away by the tides of nostalgia and the excitement of what-ifs. This is one high school reunion you won't want to miss!https://lnkd.in/gFRummgd

What if you could unlock the secrets of your mind? In "The Girl Who Transcended The Lightning Brain," author explores this tantalizing possibility with gripping intensity. From the very first page, readers are plunged into a world where the boundaries between reality and imagination blur.🌱🌱At the heart of the story is Electra Kirchner, a character whose journey of self-discovery takes her to the very limits of human consciousness. As she grapples with questions of identity and purpose, readers are drawn into a narrative that challenges their assumptions and forces them to reconsider the nature of reality itself.🌱🌱What sets this book apart is its ability to blend elements of science fiction, mystery, and existential philosophy into a cohesive whole. Through Electra's experiences, we're given glimpses into the depths of the human psyche and the mysteries of the universe.🌱🌱But perhaps the most compelling aspect of "The Girl Who Transcended The Lightning Brain" is its ability to spark curiosity and introspection. Long after the final page has been turned, readers will find themselves pondering the deeper questions raised by Electra's journey and searching for answers within themselves.🌱🌱In conclusion, "The Girl Who Transcended The Lightning Brain" is a captivating exploration of the human spirit and the power of the mind. Its thought-provoking themes, richly drawn characters, and immersive narrative make it a must-read for anyone who seeks to unlock the secrets of their consciousness.🌱🌱Rating of the book- 4.5⭐/5⭐🌱🌱For the full review, click the link in my bio.🌱🌱#qotd🌸 - How do you decide when to abandon a book you're not enjoying?#cliffratza #lightningbrainpress #reviewcollaboration #reviewcopy #science #sciencefiction #thegirlwhor*setthecyberworld

Dear Friend,The other morning I heard a twittering flock of chimney swifts swoop through the narrow gap between my house and the next. This is normal: this time of year they zoom around the buildings morning and evening in hot pursuit of tasty insects. This time, however, they nearly collided with a robin who blundered his way into their flight path. I heard his angry shrieks, and even once they passed he continued his grumpy muttering for several minutes. In a way, we're all kind of like that robin. We might have our own plans and ideas, but then some fad or meme sweeps through the mental spaces of our culture and we are left confused, disgruntled and in disarray. And that's the best case.In the worst case, we get swept away by the idea and accept it for our own, whether it is good for us or not.Our own ideas are lost and forgotten. Are there ways to withstand or even sidestep these waves of cultural madness? In my forthcoming book, 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘦: 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘔𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘭𝘥 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘴, I share a system of three practices that all work together to develop and strengthen your mind. But that is just the beginning. There are thousands of years of writings on this subject, but much of it is unknown—outside the silos of academia—today.Once 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘢𝘨𝘦 is available, I will be continuing my explorations in a monthly printed letter that goes deep into its subject—print, meaning a physical copy will be delivered to the door of subscribers each month.I've already started working on the first issue, in which I explore a subject that is thoroughly misunderstood—the will.Hint: the depiction of willpower in modern books is completely misleading.Information on where and how to subscribe will be coming soon.Until next time, keep exploring!Mel Jeffcoat
